I. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:09PM by CJ Jawahar
II. Roll call
Present Board Members: CJ Jawahar, Guru Niyam Seyl, and Ginger Long
Community members: Ushadevi Radhamony, Officer Goodpaster, Kaye Swain, Lorna Burke, Rosalyn Rendon, Efren Rendon, Miya Yslava, Veronica Mediucho
III. Approval of May 2nd, 2017 minutes: Hearing no objections, via email, the minutes were approved as submitted and placed on file.
IV. Public Safety Update
K9 Officer Ron Goodpaster – Couple things going on are the continued vehicle break-in. Lock doors, take valuables, park in garage; remove garage door opener if parking outside. Grandparent phone scam seems to be ongoing as well.
V. RCONA Update
Form to fill out volunteer hours, good for grant requests and volunteer appreciation function by the City.
VI. Treasurer Report
$466.88, after RCONA NNO reimbursement
VII. Old Business
NNO 2017 recap. 32 sign-ins, but double the number of ice creams given. No feedback from thank you email. Just too hot this year!
Newsletter distribution transferring over to Rosalyn for bi-monthly delivery. Kaye to remain editor.
VIII. New Business
Elections at October meeting.
Switch to bi-monthly meetings.
Need to recruit more members and fill the board positions.
